Surface-mount the sensor, pair it to the receiver, and you're detecting vehicles in minutes — no cutting, conduit or driveway downtime.

How It Works

The e-LOOP sits on the ground surface at your gate or barrier and uses radar and magnetometer sensing to detect approaching vehicles. It communicates wirelessly and securely to the e-TRANS-50 transceiver, which relays the signal to your gate motor or barrier controller to trigger opening.

e-TRANS-50 Transceiver

• Flexible relay modes – Pulse, Latch and Hold, to suit different gate motor and barrier controllers
• Fail Safe / Fail Secure toggle – Configurable failsafe behaviour for the relay output
• Adjustable pulse time – Relay latch duration configurable from 1–15 seconds
• External input menu – Wired input with Latch, Pulse or POC (Pulse on Charge) behaviour, configurable N/O or N/C
• e-Trans forwarding – Chain multiple e-TRANS-50 units together so all connected systems latch simultaneously — ideal for multi-lane or multi-gate sites
• Backwards compatible – Hardware switch toggles between Version 3 (legacy) and Version 4 (current) to support older and newer e-LOOP sensors on the same receiver

Operational Modes (e-LOOP)

• Exit Mode – Sends a single pulse trigger to the receiver on vehicle detection, ideal for exit-only triggering
• Presence Mode – Pulses and latches the relay, holding the gate open while a vehicle remains in the detection zone
• Parking Mode – Same latching behaviour as Presence Mode, with a slower latch response and lower power use

Note: Presence Mode is designed for vehicle detection only and must not be used as a pedestrian safety device.

Version Compatibility

This kit ships as Version 4 — the e-LOOP and e-TRANS-50 hardware switch are matched and ready to pair out of the box. The e-TRANS-50's onboard switch also supports Version 3 (legacy) mode, so it can be used to add this system alongside existing older e-LOOP sensors if required.
